Nathan’s first Alcasian Adventure…
Nathan got to meet so many new family members – Cousins, Aunts, Uncles, Grand-Aunts and Uncles, and his Great-Grandmother. These four days were GREAT for me. Not only would Manu would take Nate in the morning after I fed him so I could to go back to sleep, but with all of the family around and everyone wanting to hold and play with Nate, people would just bring him to me when he was hungry. Although I began to feel like a milk machine, I was recharged and full of energy when we left Munster.
Nathan got to meet his cousin Elliot.
(and Manu got to see his Sister as a Mom for the first time)

Saturday morning Manu, Nathan and I packed up and drove to Lucern for Manu’s last volleyball game ever. Our drive along the jagged snow covered Alps against a crystal clear blue sky was a perfect way to end this chapter in our lives. Earlier in the week the Tribune de Geneve wrote a great article on Manu, on the right is my FB post about it.

Easter was always a big deal in my family. Our first Easter together I woke Manu up by jumping on him and yelling “The Easter bunny came, the Easter bunny came”. As he got out of bed, he found a jellybean trail through the apartment which lead to decadent spread on the coffee table of Swiss chocolate, American carrot cake, and freshly cut flowers. Ever since we have “celebrated” Easter by surprising each other with silly, but yummy, presents.
I totally forgot to prepare something this year. The whole keeping another person alive kinda took over all energy and brain capacity recently. This is a picture of how Manu woke me up, and of coarse he was saying “The Easter bunny came, the Easter bunny came”. Best Easter Yet!

Nathan’s cousins made him his own nest.
During the Easter egg hunt Morgane tried to pick up one of the chocolate eggs near his nest and her older sister Manon said “No, you can’t have that one. It’s Nathan’s.” She has his back already 😉
