We (M&Z) have had some amazing adventures over the years… staying up all night drinking wine and talking in Lille, France – falling in love in Lucca, Italy – deciding to move to Geneva, Switzerland on a whim – working / exploring NYC for a summer – kayaking in Maine – mountain biking and skiing in Colorado – playing professional volleyball in Switzerland – kayaking in the lake, diving off abandoned structures and playing volley in the biggest 3 vs 3 tourney in Annecy, France – throwing Manu a 50 person 3-day 30th birthday party in Alsace, France – playing volleyball and getting in trouble at late night pool parties in Texas – exploring Mesa Verde, Zion, the Grand Canyon, Death Valley, Yosemite, Yellowstone, Grand Teton, Golden Gate, Acadia National Parks during a two month road trip in a Jeep Wrangler with the top down – learning what too many margaritas and a lazy river in Las Vegas does to Manu – skiing all over the Alps – camping trips in the South of France – Manu becoming the Director of the Centre de la Montagnarde based in a 14th century castle at the foot of the Mount Blanc – hiking Cinque Terre, Italy – Manu’s team winning the Swiss Championship – finishing my Master in International Business valedictorian – Manu playing the the Euro Cup in Ukraine in a town just months after was no longer part of Ukraine – becoming a professional player/coach at Geneve Volley – being an oil trader in the financial district of Geneva, Switzerland – getting engaged in Zermat, Switzerland – exploring Bavaria, Germany and visiting two of the most famous castles in the world, Neushwanstein and Hohenschwangau – Manu playing the cello in the Louvre garden in Paris, France – hiking in the Dolomites in Italy – visiting where my Grandfather used to vacation in Plitvicka, Pula, and Dubrovnik, Croatioa – visiting the famous Mostar bridge in Bosnia – discovering Montenegro – canyoning in Slovina – exploring multiple destinations in the US and Europe with our parents – throwing an epic four day 100 person wedding in Aspen, Colorado – summating Mount Kilimanjaro at 19,341ft (5,895m) in Tanzania and swimming with dolphins in Zanzibar – quitting my job as an oil trader to become a consultant based in NYC which resulted in spending three to five weeks in a row apart from each other for almost two years – hiking part of the Appellation Trail in up-state New York – moving to Sallanches, France – camping and hiking all over Canada from Calgary to Vancouver at three months pregnant – buying our first home in Cordon, France – just to name a few… but I have a feeling we are about to start our greatest adventure yet as MnZ!
